Day 189: WAKE UP BARRY!

Week 27:  Do at least 15 crunches each day this week.

Good afternoon. I just got done doing my weight lifting, push-ups, and crunches, and now I’m going out for a jog. I woke up after noon, and to be honest with you, I needed the sleep. I guess when Luke and I have our days together we go for broke, because the next day I’m as tired as Jeff Wiggles.
I didn’t get to jump on the scale at the doctor’s office yesterday. Luke’s mom showed up for a surprise encounter and when Luke was playing on the scale, she got to get in one of her little jabs by saying, “Maybe Daddy should get on the scale… Oh no Luke, he would break it.” Yep, she’s a charmer. She helped make the greatest child in the world though, so I’ve got to give her that.
I just realized I missed a call from my friend, Denise, who is in town to visit her family. She’s invited me to a Labor day picnic, so this scale-breaker is heading for a jog and then a burger.
