47: Do you say hi, hello, good morning, or nothing at all?

Week 7:  Eat 1/2 cup broccoli every day this week.

Good morning. Hi. Hello. What’s up? How do? As you may or may not know, these are ways of greeting people. From what I understand there are over 279 ways to do this in many, many different languages. Why am I bringing this up, you ask? Well let me tell you. I woke up this morning, had my Fuji apple along with a glass of Montel, and I went for my walk. This was about 7 am. A lot of people in this area must leave for work around that time because there was an extra amount of traffic, on foot, as well as in automobiles. Me being me, I like to say hi or good morning to people. I guess not everybody feels the same. About fifty percent returned my salutations. Twenty-five percent grumbled something out of their cake holes which could have been a good morning or an obscenity. The other twenty-five percent acted as if I wasn’t there at all. Hey, that’s their right. I wasn’t hurt or mad at this. It’s just an observation. Some people aren’t morning people. I can dig that. Some people got stuff on their minds. I can dig that like a five foot blue spruce. Some people ate so much carp (not a type O, but change two letters around) before they went to bed that they just woke up feeling carppy (not a type O). Whatever it may be, I’m not going to let it get me down. I said it once, I’ll say it at least a million more times – “LIFE IS GOOD!!!”
I hope everybody out there has a great day and says hello to someone they don’t know.
