Day 130: I like a nice piece of pie every once in a while.

Week 19:  Eat 1 1/2 cups lettuce/spinach each day this week.

Good morning. Luke and I are up and at ‘em with a vengeance this morning. We both got our stretches, exercises, and healthy breakfast in and done, and we’ll be heading out for a walk before the humidity gets so thick it will be impossible to do so.
Ok I found that the E.D.R. (employee dining room) could be my Achilles heel. There was this piece of Oreo mud pie that was calling out my name on my first break. By the time the second break came around it had turned into an ex-girlfriend who wanted some attention and wouldn’t have it any other way until we sat down and talked. So I ate it. Yep it was good, not going to lie to you. See the problem is, there wasn’t just one piece of pie on the shelf – there were like fifty. An army, if you will, of Oreo mud pies with their sights on everybody in that dining room. I only had one piece and I don’t feel terribly bad about it, but you must realize that there will be a plethora of pieces of pies there all the time and I’m going to have to batten down the hatches. I’ve got to stick to my own advice and be bigger than what it is that I want. But I won’t lie to you – that pie is pretty big. I’m bigger.
